and practised in alexander mcqueen's couture studio,
thus there is no doubting her technique. Sushko  has

eleanor amoroso is a recent graduate from the

university of westminister, amoroso's work resonates

with traditional african tribal dress and costume, the

entire collection has been handmade using a 13th

century arab knotting technique called macrame. the

detail and craftsmanship in each garment is apparent 

paying homage to the forgotten art of craftsmanship.

orla kiely is a london based fashion designer who
was originally commissioned by harrods to design
a range of hats and the label soon included a range
of accessories and well it has since blossomed into
a sixties influenced fashion label. kiely's autumn/
winter collection is simple and bold with babydoll
cuts and details, what appeals to me though is the
colour pallette mustard yellows and peachy oranges.

natalie rae richardson is a recent graduate from

london fashion college, this being her debut

collection and an incredibly promising career in

the horizon. the collection is all exquisitely

embroidered to mimic furs and cow hides, who

needs fur when detailing like this is far more

luxurious. A creative imagination that leaves us

all on the edge of our seats for the next collection.

nicole bradshaw is a 2010 kingston university graduate
with her final collection proving to be incredibly promising,
she has been inspired by textures, tones and colours and
aspires to create for women as 'second skin'. bradshaw
explores a range of materials in this collection from lurex,
silicone, mohair and fur. I'm sure all the boutiques are
awaiting this young designers next collection.

reinterpretation of historical luggage, each piece is
bespoke or part of a limited edition, she utilises regional
historical craftsmanship to create these wonderful pieces.

a play on pixel geometries and their colours, cuts and forms.
A clever combination considering the typical play with pixel
geometries don't go beyond the fabric's print, however
kalivas takes it into the next dimension.
